Snooker star John Higgins has been explaining which player has caused him the most problems during his career.
Given that he’s a master in the matchplay department it’s hard to imagine anyone making life hard for Higgins.
However, in sport, typically bogey players exist and Higgins is no exception to that notion.
Despite winning four World Championship titles during his career there is one man that he’s just never enjoyed playing.

John Higgins shares which players he’s never enjoyed playing
Higgins has won everything there is to win on several occasions and is in the discussion for the greatest-ever player.
Although he’s now 49-years-old there is some optimism that he can still win the game’s biggest trophies.
However, one player during his career has proved a tough opponent and it’s nothing to do with the results he’s had over Higgins.
When quizzed on the one player who has had a bit of an Indian sign over him during his time on the tour, he chose Peter Ebdon.
Higgins told PLZ Soccer on YouTube: “I’d probably say Peter Ebdon had a bit of an Indian sign because he was so unorthodox.
“You didn’t really know where you stood, he was such a fighter on the table.
“He would play Kamikaze shots but they were clever shots as well. You could never settle against Peter Ebdon.”
Higgins wasn’t the only player to hate playing Ebdon
This is far from surprising.
Ebdon had the numbers of many players and his slow-paced style made someone like Mark Selby look like Tony Drago!
During a game with Ronnie O’Sullivan at the World Championship one year it took Ebdon five minutes to compile a break of 12.
Still, the Islington-born potter can’t be knocked as in 2002 he did manage to become a World Champion.
He enjoyed a sound career but he just didn’t have the longevity that Higgins, O’Sullivan and Mark Williams have managed to produce.
Ebdon proved a tough nut to crack and it’s absolutely no surprise to use that Higgins found him a challenge to play against.
